they usually hide

They usually find a quite spot. Her water will break and sometimes you will see a mucous plug come out. Their breathing becomes labored and they lay on their side. If she's doing okay, leave her alone. If not, (she goes into labor and hasn't had a kitten for a couple of hours or there is more than 20 min between kittens)take her to the vet. You can also call your vets office and ask them if you are concerned. After she has the kittens and the kittens are about eight weeks old, have your cat
spayed. It's much better for animals to be neutered.

If you haven't already created a warn quiet dark place for her you should. they will got there and go into labour.

Sometime Mommy cats can hold off a few days until the right environment is created and then they have thier kitties.

You probaly won't.

We went through 2 litters of kittens and we didnt know she had them untill her stomach shrunk. Cats are very good at hiding thier litter to protect them.

Don't worry, she will do a very very good job of givinig birth, cleaning it up, and taking care of the kittens. She will probably even bury any that die.

You just make sure that your giving her the right food, and lots of water so she can nurse healthy babies! She will take care of everything I swear.

Oh and don't touch them. Mommy doesnt like that. :)

You won't be able to find it. I put down a brand new whelping bed for Fuggy, and she disappeared! Two days later, she was giving birth in the closet, and all over my shoes!

I can't tell you all symtoms, but when she is ready she will go to wherever she has chosen as her birthing place (quite possibly someplace other than what you had intended) and will shred herself a nice bed with whatever is there.
