I live in a Mormon dominated town and constantly have these religious wackos knocking on my door..is there a legal way to keep them off my land? I live in a sub-division.

If you can get them to enter I believe you have legal grounds to shoot them for trespassing, just dont let anyone see you invite them in...and leave no survivors.

Get some chalk, some red paint and some mormon literature.
1) Take the chalk and make an outline of a person on the front steps

If you put up a sign, then for them to knock on the door means that they're trespassing and can get a ticket or go to jail on a misdemeanor offense.
However, there must be a clearly visible sign or it doesn't count.

Maybe you should just always answer the door completely naked! I bet they wouldn't come back again!
A friend of mine always invites them inside for dinner and lets them go on about conversion. When they ask her if she wants to convert, she'll say, "No thank you, we're witches." They'll then notice the brooms, the cauldrons, the pentacles, and they excuse themselves and never come back! It's very polite and effective.

post a small sign at the end of your drivway and at your front door that says...NO SOLICITATION OF RELIGOUS BELIEFS. You can find stuff to make these sgns at a hardware store...try Ace (if you have one). If they are as mormon and spiitually motivated as they claim they will respect you...otherwise it gives you an excuse to ridicule their stupidity.. so win/win right?!

Take them inside and try to convert them. They'll never try again. Legally, I'm not sure what else you can do besides telling them that you'll call the cops because they're tresspassing.

Do you have a gate on your property? I keep my gate locked, and it seems to have kept both the proselytizers and the salesmen off my doorstep quite effectively.
