rebelde (reh-bel-deh) is the closest equivalent youre going to find in spanish, usually when a word doesnt exist in spanish (in Latin America at least), the original word is adopted in Spanish. There isnt really an "emo" movement in Latin America so many people are not going to identify with this term. You'd have to explain it to them, or they wouldnt get it! Like i said rebelde is the best general word to use.
You could say "un emocionado", which just means theyre emotional but doesnt really imply the punk thing.
Maybe "un rebelde emocionado" if you wanted to be specific.

darkness will be pronounced "oz-coorie-dad" (oscuridad), emo punk it is very difficult to find an equivalent in spanish , we normally do not translate such difficult words.

Being that "emo" is short for "emoticon" which is not a universally recognized word, it's the same in any language whether it be English, Spanish or even D'ni. (Myst joke.)

it depends if the other person is a teenager, just say for punk -punketo, and darkness- oscuridad
