The problem is that with that body style (73-81) they are notorious for rusting out. Same with Camaros, as they are the same body and chassis. If the body is sound, without a lot of bondo and body work, if the interior and paint work has been done well, & if it's cherried out like you say with no mechanical or suspension issues I'd think you will do OK...to an interested private party that is... but a dealer will offer you little to nothing. Price? I've seen these go from $1500- $10,000 depending on the car, options, and quality. It would be better if it had the 400 engine rather than the 350 though, and would be better if it was a Formula or Trans Am rather than a regular base Firebird. Try shopping around on sites like ebay or autotrader.com to see if anything similar to your car is selling right now, and at what price. Good Luck.
