There really isn't a quick way to mend a broken heart. I've had mine broken several times and each time seemed just as hard as the first. Time heals all things. It will get better, I went through the same thing. My ex fiance dated my best friend of sixteen years after he beat me and I put a restraining order on him. It was awful, but I made it through it even when I thought I wouldn't. You'll be ok, it just takes time. Believe me.

Yikes. The best way to mend a broken heart is to move on and find
a new best friend and a new boyfriend. There's plenty of fish in the
sea. I never had that happen to me. But I've ended up with plenty
of broken hearts in my lifetime. It does take time to heal a broken heart though. So go out with your real friends like on a girl's night
out on the town or the movies.

Activity is the antedote for depression. That's a big slap in the face that you are dealing with and I say the best thing to do is to go out and date....cry when you need to, but don't let it get the best of you. Join those free sites and meet people to go out and take your mind off of the situation. And also.........the next time you get a man you really care for....keep him away from your girlfriends. Learn from this painful lesson because your man and your girlfriends should be two separate avenues in your life. Why do they need to meet? Why do they need to be in the same place with you at the same time? Enjoy them separately in the future.

MOVE ON. Don't talk to him or her. Don't listen or do anything that reminds you of him. Don't sit and dwell on thoughts and memories. YOu have to FIGHT it like hell for a while but it will be better. It's like a band aid you have to pull it off fast. It hurts a lot but in the end, it's better. I wish I had done this many times in my past. Just move on and fight it. It'll get easier in a few months. I promise.

i hate to state the obvious- but you are clearly SO MUCH better off without either of these people in your life.....
that being said, break some of your old patterns that you had while the two of you were together. hang out with some new people, in some new places (different clubs, restaurants, etc). this will not only allow you to avoid the memories of time you spent together with old friends/in old hangouts, but it will also give you a refreshing sense that you are truly starting a new, better life.

get a new boyfriend or have alot of "girl time".
and don't worry I always hear that time heals many wounds. It's not like a life and death situation. so hang in there. I know where you coming from.
