Only your doctor will know what is best for you. Be open and honest with your doctor and talk about any issues or concerns you have about taking the luvox. If one medication doesn't work, then he/she may prescribe another one. Not all meds work the same way and every body reacts to medications differently. Often its a matter of trial and error to find one that does work.

If you're looking for a better drug, no idea. If you're looking for other solutions to your problem than pills, go see a good therapist. Hopefully, you'll eventually get rid of both your OCD and the medication. Cognitive behavioural therapy has proven very effective for OCD. Won't cure everybody but I'd give it a shot if I were you.

take whatever the doctor tells you. in no way is he encouraged to give you prescriptions despite eventual effects, and in no way will you get addicted. if you are taking drugs, make sure you got it from a big, air conditioned building with security guards, that way you know its ok. the doctor is perfectly well balanced when it comes to prescribing powerful drugs. if you go to the doctors house, surely you will not find various products with prescription sponsors on them, nor will you find gifts from pharmaceutical companies. you are not a drug addict if you can get enough people to feel bad for you.
