I guess five years either way. And that's if I'm older than I am right now. I don't really know. It would depend on the guy really.

10 years either way. Any longer and you will be of completely different generations. I say that as a general rule, I am 38 years old, if there was an exceptoinally mature 20 year old or an attractive 50 year old I would throw that rule out the window. The heart wants what the heart wants

Biggest age difference in years or percentage?
In my (single) mothers's experience it did not matter. She says her 3 greatest most wonderful love affairs were with much older guys. When she was 14 he was 32, it lasted 5 years. When she was 19 he was 49, it lasted 7 years. When she was 27 he was 56, it lasted 6 years. Unfortunately they all were traveling professionals, headquartered elsewhere. My mom and I remain good friends with all of them.

Up to one year younger and I've dated up to 6 years my senior before. It all depends on the maturity of the people involved. I've known a lot of guys that act older and more respectful than guys years older than them. Also it depends on what you are comfortable with...There are a lot of variables to consider.
