my bf says he loves me a lot. But the thing is now due to his job he had to move to another continent. He still says he loves me and we are in touch online everyday. plus we call each other too. But i am afraid he will stray... he does say there are a lot of pretty girls around him. But when i get upset he just laughs and says that i am with you so i am not interested in anyone else. But this distance is making me insecure. He wants us to get married. But rite now i wont be able to move to where he is neither can he come to me. I dont know wat to do. Also my dad cheated on my mom and i dont want it to happen to me so i guess i have the same fear in my head which i know is irrational. Wat do u think i should do?

Mutual trust is the un-written code and foundation of any love relation.
Like you feel for him - his going stray, he may also think in these terms for you! Even if you are in the same city or locality, he or you can't be stray - what is the guarantee? Only consolation is that you will come to know of this "stray" early when compared to staying in different continents.
Perhaps, both of you are being given this opportunity to test your love for each other when not staying together for sometime. Bank upon it.
Even when you get married, do remember to give and avail some space for both of you individually and periodically - if possible. This will test and strengthen your bond between the two of you.
Get rid of unfounded fears and cherish your relationships. Life takes its own course and this is natural.

What's the old saying...if you love them, let them go. If they come back it was meant to be.
If you can't take being in a long distance relationship, then tell him that. Tell him you can still be friends, and if your not in another relationship when he gets back, and if you still love each other, then you can get back together.
You will never know for sure what he is doing whether he is in this country or another country. If he is going to cheat he doesn't have to be in another continent to do so. I hope if you stay together, that absence will make the heart grow fonder!

just give it some time. That is not compulsory that your dad did wrong with your mom so you will get hurt in the same way. If he says he loves you then he must and even though he is surrounded with a lot of hot girls he seems to get online with you every night not on bed with those girls you must keep a little trust Give that love a little space and time everything will be fine

hi nice-b ur situation is same as mine...i m going through the same thing and only a person going through a same kind of situation can understand that.....i know its really hard to maintain long distacne relationships...i havent seen my fiancee for 2 yrs but still v r together...its just a faith and trust in god that keeps us together....u never know wats hidden for ur future...so i think u can only trust on him and believe in god.....and just keep loving him....if u do good then good cames back to u...make him so use to of urs that he just cant even think of leaving u ....and u know phone sex is important too in such relations..it sounds funny but it is true...ok i hope u got me....

how long is he overseas..if its for a few weeks its okee..but months..years..then..there may be a problem...update on that and we might be able to give u better advice
