Defiantly the reformation. That ended the age where the PEOPLE of the Roman Catholic church could have their way with society and stop levying taxes on the faithful. That was the moment when the people of christianity learned that there was more to the church and christianity than they had been previously told.

The church had pretty much already lost it by the second
century,it was alread steeped in pagenism, and false teachings.
since then 1914 c.e. was probably the start of best things (and)
worst to come..however the crusades were probably a barrel of
laughs.....

The Church's finrst moment was when Martin Luther rebelled against them. This incident caused the Church to stop, think and amend it's ways.
The Catholic church have come a long way.

The Crusades. There's nothing like hot-headed believers killing anybody who doesn't convert to their beliefs. See the attached.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!
Don't forget burning millions of women alive because they were thought to be witches. (There were some villages in Europe that literally had no females in them as a result of this!)
