no, you are a soul. You are physical, therefore the soul is physical. You can be a spiritual being too, but that's When Christ comes back. We can't leave our body for as souls, we nead the body and breath to live. Yet God can give us immortality and transform our body so that it can move with the spirits. God can give eternal life and take it away, we aren't born with it. Without it, we cease to exist at death. This death of the soul is 1000 years after the scond coming. Christ returns to Cleanse Earth and destroy those who destroy life with no remorse. THen the Earth becomes new and the Saints live there and the New Jerusalem from heaven will be it's capital. Hell is that fire that will cleanse the Earth and Heaven is the atmosphere of the New Earth. The kindgom of God is the entire universe. We'll get to explore it all, learn many things we never knew, meet new people, and do things that were never possible. Imagine having a pet lion that is a vegetarian!

Nobody does.

Christians have a totally whacky idea of what the 'soul' is supposed to be. For the Jews of that time... including Jesus... the 'soul' was an enveloping emanation from the godhead that resulted from the community's relationship with god. The soul as a component of a human being (Christian view) is an artifact of Greek thinking on 'dualism'... which was incorporated into Christian dogma and lore by Gentile theologians, who were ignorant of Jewish (and Jesus') concept of 'soul'.

So... apart from the fact that all of this stuff is mythological nonsense, anyway... everyone's worries about what happens to their personal 'soul' are of no consequence... it does not exist.

Why would ask a question that U already know the answer too? If U can identify these two words what would U come up with? If I may U are your own teacher in anything U do in this life. Whatever the questions that U seek through this media U already have your answer. There is no right or wrong in what U are. Be blessed in knowing that all as it should be.

Well, no matter what you 'think", something actually is. So if in your mind there absolutely is NO God, you may still in fact have a 'soul' and there might still in fact be an afterlife whether you like it or not.
That is why I'm agnostic. I highly doubt all the myth and fairy tales, however, no matter what I can't wrap my mind around in this material world, there still very well might be something else unseen, you don't want to shut that door in your life.
I think it is important to keep an open mind.

I feel that I have a soul, but I am only going to apply my religious beliefs to myself. I would say that I think that all humans have souls, and that's what makes us unique. Whether or not it is an eternal soul, that's not my decision to make.

Everyone has a soul... having a soul isn't conditional to your religious beliefs

Yes you do. Your choice to be an atheist is free will, given to each of us at our creation. Your free will/choice does not take away your soul given to you by God at birth.

yes, you have an eternal soul, just like everyone else. If you are an atheist, when you die, you go to hell personally, not to oblivion..
