The social thing yes - High School is Lord of The Flies, the minute you graduate the people's whose opinions seem to mean so much now, mean absolutely nothing, happens the day after graduation it's kind of weird.
The work thing no - more work, more to be concerned about
The sex thing - yes you get better at it and you get more, be careful, use protection
The dumb thing - nope sorry not for several more years, you will still continue to learn at a very rapid pace, it's about age 25-30 that this starts to fade some
The money thing - yes once you get to be in control, no- once you get to be in control - it's to choose your own spending but you have a lot more bills and such.
Good luck to you.

I just finished high school last year, so take this with a grain of salt. It doesn't necessarily get easier, but it doesn't have to get harder either. Start training yourself during high school to do responsible things the way an adult would. If you have a job, budget your money, setting aside some for saving, some for spending, and some for gift-giving or charity, but always be sure to take enough off the top to pay your bills (credit card, gas, car insurance, cell phone), whatever your parents aren't covering for you. That really helped me. Start phasing into adulthood progressively, and the transition will be easier. It also helps to have goals in mind. So set some that are easy to attain to start with, and then some long-term ones that are a little more challenging, but still within reach.

The world will open up for you and while some of that means wonderful things, it also requires responsibility that you might not have had before. Don't let it frighten you, don't let it anger you, no matter what happens, it will be a learning experience. In business, go with your instincts. In relationships, go with your instincts. As you get older you will learn more, and also learn that there is more to be learned. Make the most and the best of it, and you should really listen to people over the age of forty. I will be 46 in a few days and I always thought older folks didn't know anything. Was I ever surprised, and now I laugh at my arrogance while in my youth.

Nope. Life gets harder the older you get. Actually, if you go to college with everything paid for, that is a fun and easy four years. After that, life is hard!! I am only in my late 20's but I still don't have a career or a goal in life.

well u'll have to get a job (if u don't have one yet) find/ send a application to college, go to college,(college really does give u more job oppurtunities), pay for college, get a house, pay taxes, decide if u want to raise a family, support the family (if u wanted one) pay for the extrememly high gas prices and a whole bunch of other fun things! sound easy? didn't think so. but i'm sure u'll make all the right choices (hopefully) so take each day for granted!

I just left high school, and for me, things aren't working out at all the way I planned. I guess it would depend on what your plans are and how you plan to get there. It's not easy for me, but it is nice to escape all the immaturity and drama. It's a chance to finally grow in my own space.

if you ae goin to collage it might be hard depending on which collage you are going to. If you are going to take a break for 6
years or so it MIGHT be easy. your parents or friends might want you to get a job or go back to school four a couple of years, but I cant tell you what to do. Its both easy and hard at the same time.

Are you kidding?? High school is nothing compared to real life. For one thing, you have to go out and get a REAL job, not just scooping ice cream at Baskin-Robbins. You have to attend college which is ten times harder than high school. In many circumstances, you have to find your own place to live and grow up really fast. But I promise it'll be worth it.

I agree with most of what people say. It's less 'drama' than high school, but being easy all depends on what you want to do. If your still at home with the parents, you can live the rest of your life sitting on a couch or you can go out and get yourself a job or you can also plan to go to college. I myself, got a job, and then went back to school. I also raise children, so life's not that easy, expecially when no body is hiring for a job with enough money to support my family.

Life??? depends I guess on what you make of it. If you are going on to University or college.....it'll be somewhat like high school....just a bit more intense.
If you are heading out into the job market, without continuing your education, you might find it a little tough. The dream jobs don't generally fall out of trees. My suggestion....continue your education, get a degree then hit the adult world head on!
Good luck!
