Secular writings state that Barabbas continued in his evil ways and once again was held by roman authorities and was eventually put to death by crucifixion.
Nothing that I have found yet gives any further detail on Simon.

The naming of Alexander and Rufus indicate that Simon and his family were known by the early church.
Mk 15:21 A man named Simon from Cyrene was passing by. He was the father of Alexander and Rufus. Simon was on his way in from the country. The soldiers forced him to carry the cross.

Simon became into probably a Jew who became into in Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover. Simon's sons have been Rufus and Alexander ( Mark 15:21 )might desire to have been time-commemorated in Christian circles on the later time, and consistent with danger have been linked with the church at Rome ( Rom sixteen:13, Rufus might have been spoken of right here ). Cyrene became right into a maximum ideal city of Libya, west of Egypt. In North Africa.

We are not told in the Bible what happened to either of these gentlemen, but I believe that meeting Jesus will change a person's life.
My book, "The Book of Barabbas" is about a young man named Joshua who is raised to believe that he is the Messiah, set against the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, the true Messiah. It is in two parts..."Searching for the Messiah" is available now at Amazon or Barnes&Noble, the second part, "Finding Salvation" will be out in a couple of months, and it will also be available at these bookstores.

The New Testament was written tetestify to the works of Jesus mainly during his ministry. Many characters play a part in His story but we have very little information beyond what the scriptures tell us.

Didn't you see the movie Barabbas? Check it out.
It was very interesting. In the movie he went to see
Lazarus. I'll never forget that scene.
They say the man that helped carry the cross was a black man.

Nothing more is said about them, although people have speculated that Simon was converted later. That and 25c will get you a cup of coffee...

The Bible doesn't go into detail but if they didn't accept Jesus as their Savior, then they are in hell and having a hard time.
