Knob Creek is one of the top bourbons. And you don't want to ruin it with all kind of other mixers. Simply mix it with 7-up, Ginger Ale or Coca Cola with a lime squeeze.
Or you can try a Manhattan or Side Car or a Whiskey Sour.
Side Car
1 part Knob Creek Bourbon
1/2 part Triple Sex
1/2 part lemon juice
Serve in a highball and over ice.
Manhattan
2 1/2 parts Knob Creek Bourbon
3/4 parts sweet vermouth
Dash Angostura bitters
3 or 4 ice cubes
Maraschino cherry
Combine in a shaker but do not shake. You do not want to bruise the cocktail and cause cloudiness. Swirl or use a spoon to stir and then strain into a Martini glass and garnish with cherry.
Whiskey Sour
Bourbon and Sweet and Sour Mix. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
Serve in a highball over ice.

Knob Creek's sippin' whiskey...should be enjoyed straight.
However, if you're dead set on mixing it, try it with ginger ale and a twist of lime.
As previously mentioned, in a Mint Julep is good, too.

The Manhattan is one of the classic bourbon cocktails:
3oz bourbon
1½ oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Stir & serve with a cherry and crushed ice. For a dry cocktail use dry vermouth.
Or you can try what's rumoured to be the first cocktail, the Sazerac:
2½ oz bourbon
2 tsp Pernod
½ tsp sugar syrup
3 dashes Peychaud bitters
Shake & serve with ice and a twist of lemon.
