" When He, The Spirit of Truth, is come (from the Father), he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that SHALL HE SPEAK; and he will show you the things to come".

So according to Jesus if you want to hear God's voice you MUST RECEIVE the Holy Spirit.
If you have NOT the Spirit of God then you CANNOT what He is saying.

Is it any wonder unbelievers are so confused?

The Apostles shaped the Church to operate God's community right here in the international. It serves as an section the position Christians can unite and praise God at the same time. The Church isn't Divine so it also makes blunders. the dominion of God isn't like the Church because the dominion makes no blunders. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God which he sends to empower human beings and to furnish them braveness, faith and the flexibility to do God's will in the international. basically those in the Church receives the Spirit yet those who've it are empowered to spread the religion and with the religion comes the Spirit. party: How might want to a baby from say Antartica change into Christian if there is not any individual to inform him about it? we need the Church and its individuals to spread the religion and we need the Holy Spirit to empower us to do a more desirable helpful job of spreading the religion. Like throughout Pentecost. Jesus despatched his Spirit to the Apostles and the Disciples (which became on the time the comprehensive Church) and this empowered them to shed their worry of the Jews and Romans to have braveness in replacing the international to Christianity. owing to the Spirit it has empowered missionaries over the a at the same time as to help convert human beings. Jesus will be with us continuously.

By the way, Jesus said that he came to preach to a deaf world. He was talking to people like you who cannot hear with all the self-righteous wax in their ear.

Stop belittling and verbally abusing people on your word crusades. The Holy Spirit is asking for your life so that He can share something so beautiful that it probably escapes you. He will never ask you to log onto Yahoo Answers and start SPEAKING IN CAPS and asking sarcastic questions posed at what you call "unbelievers".

The fact that you even have the word unbeliever in your vocabulary shows that you are deaf. Where does Jesus use these terms?

By the way, read with a contrite heart and with humility and you may get that wax flushed out and be able to hear.

Are we ALL not that of which U speak. The truth of all things lives in all of us no matter the cause of ones journey. We are in a questioning mode of something we have been in search for. My belief is nothing outside of U can give U all that U seek. Just as the master teacher Jesus was on his search he found the kingdom where we have all forgotten to look. We are not here to judge that which we know not but to learn. For me it is not are they confused but am I. It is when U learn of the unknown that it all becomes very clear. Be blessed in knowing that all is as it should be.

There is no such thing as a Christian who has not been born again.
There is no such thing as a Christian who has not recieved the Holy Spirit.
There is no such thing as a Christian who babbles in some unintelligible gabble...the people who recieved the HS on Pentecost were understood by the people around them "in our own tongues in which we were born"
There is, according to Ephesians...only ONE Lord, One Faith....and, yes, my friend, only ONE Baptism.
Yes, the HS, Who is also God, speaks to us directly, in words we can recognize and understand, and we can hear Him. "My sheep hear My voice and I know them", but we can't hear any gibberish language "a stranger's voice they will not hear."
Remember that God is not the author of confusion.

He gave us the bible that was written with his holy spirit.
Dip stick!
How does he do that by speaking in tongues?
All faiths speak in tongues so which one is right.
Vodoo doctors in Africa speak in tongues and even speak to suposedly dead people. which is condemed in the bible.
So if they all do it and all believe differently than how does God talk to us? How does he tell us which one is right?
