Wait, are you saying what I think you're saying? There's no tooth fairy?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Ok, $1 is good enough. If you are neglectful, like I was once and your kid writes the tooth fairy an angry note with a copy of a lawsuit attached, you may need to make it $5.

The tooth fairy left my kids $1 for each tooth.

$1 to $5 max. While its nice to keep the tooth fairy thing going for a bit, the money is only meant as a token to buy the smallest of treats for being so brave.

childrens are going to wiggle loose enamel on their own because they're childrens. they'll fall out finally. My son is in ordinary words a million a million/2 and in no way extremely loosing enamel yet :) even as he does my husband and that i have determined he receives a silver dollar in accordance to enamel and a touch trinket (sugarless gum, a sparkling toothbrush or flavored floss for toddlers- something like that) even as i became a baby the enamel fairy paid .50 cents a enamel. There are kinfolk with childrens dropping enamel that I have. enamel fairy of their living house leaves $5 a enamel, yet to me it really is a touch severe . i'd not attempt to "stay alongside of the Jonses" both in words of what his friends get.

One dollar should be enough. Putting too much money under their pillows may provoke the wrong idea in their minds about the tooth fairy and the value of money.

Hope this helps! :)

A dollar should suffice. A five year old doesn't have that many expenses. When I was younger I got quarters, and even then I didn't have anything to spend it on. (granted, you could buy a lot more for a quarter then than you can now.)

I think a dollar would be plenty, that's what my daughters give their kids. My girls received a dollar their first tooth and 50 cents for all the others, each.

I used to get a silver dollar for each tooth.

I believe they should receive a dollar for every year ( $5 for a 5 yr old). That should be enough and explain to them the value of a dollar.
