She broke up with me because she's not over her past relationship, but she wants to be friend and told me she's not elimnating the fact that we will get back together. She told me she needs time to focus on herself and get to know me more. Now, we are talking but seem so distant and i rarely hangout with her. I miss her very much and wish to somehow to get closer to her again.

Get over her, man. Get out and look for other girls that appreciate you and will treat you better. She's keeping all of her options open, and you being the nice guy, are pining away for her at home, waiting for her to get her act together. If I didn't know better, I'd say that she was hoping to get back together with her X.
Don't do it, man. Get out and meet other girls. Don't settle for a head case that wants to keep you as a pet, when there are girls that would give their right t!t to find a real nice guy to be their boyfriend.
