What is the best way to get along with with your parents (mom)?

I think it's helpful to keep in mind that they always have your best interests at heart. It's also helpful to remember that they were young too and have had an opportunity to learn from their mistakes and only want their children not to make the same ones. It's also good to remember that no one else is always going to be there for you like a parent will. No love other than a parents comes without any selfishness attached to it.

That's a hard one to answer because we are all raised differently. If you are not very close with your mom then all you need to do is respect her no matter what. Listen to her advices and lectures without fighting back when you don't agree. Fighting with your parents for what ever reasons will not get you anywhere. It will only give them an excuse not to listen to you or show you the respect you deserve. Just do your best and let them undertand what kind of person you are. Show them alot of love and respect and it should go your way too.

I am a mom so Ill tell you like this be a child is not easy and being a parent mom is not easy. Just always remember we are just trying to protect you thats all we nag alot , we yell alot but it is all in good means believe me. We just want the best for our kids. This is what I want from my girls, Get good grades, do you chores and always have respect for me and your elders. FROM A DISTANCE IF YOU HAVE TO . I MEAN THATS A HARD ONE WHEN EVERYONES PARENTS ARE DIFFERENT IN SO MANY WAYS . YOU DONT WANT TO ADD FUEL TO A FIRE THAT IS ALREADY BURINING SO IF YOU AND MOM CANT GET ALONG WELL MAYBE JUST CALLING HER A FEW TIMES A WEEK TO LET HER KNOW YOU LOVE HER AND THINKING OF HER. Best advice is this: Listen, but don't listen..

Meaning... you can listen to what they say and their interpretation of life and what they think is happening out there in the real world, but then, ignore it. You are probably most keen on exactly what is happening and don't need conjecture from family to add to the stress that you already have to deal with on a daily basis.

Mom's are special though. Treat her like your best friend when you can. But listen and don't listen.

When I hear about my daughter's problems I love to help her and I mention to her She just has to listen to me, but to do what her heart tells her to do.

The best thing you can do is allways show your mom respect. Do little things for her, like if she is relaxing ask her if she needs anything. Or if you can do anything for her. If you let your loe show, she will notice and can't help but love you back.
