Smile back! Then tell a joke, compliment her, or ask her a question. Anything you can do to break the ice, get the conversation going, and let her know that you like spending time with her is a step in the right direction. Be yourself and I'm sure she'll love you.

This doesn't feel easy, but it actually is easy to do. The trick is - it's all mental.

First, you have to completely divorce yourself from the idea of "liking" her. It is freaking you out, and that's holding you back. Think of any other girl at school that you aren't terribly interested in, and attach all these feelings to her instead. (I know it sounds goofy, but as I say, this is all mental, and to get around things like this you absolutely have to trick yourself.)

Next, find something to bring up to her. ANYTHING will do, as long as it starts off being about her, and quickly turning general - you do this to peak her interest (by talking about her,) and then getting her up on your level (by making it a general conversation.)

Like this: You see that you like her boots. (This is admittedly a dumb example, but it has worked for me before.) You say, "Those are nice boots!" She thanks you, and then you say, "Boots like that work on girls, but you never see them, do you?" Be sure to end it with a question, so she's roped into responding.

Just be sure to PLAN and PREPARE! I don't care what anyone says about "being yourself" - the only time you are truly yourself is when you are in your room, alone, with no one to make you feel weird. You can be yourself later. For right now, plan and prepare.

Find out what she likes and maybe you have something in common.Try to talk to her when she is alone.If you have classes together it's easier.Go to her and tell her that you can't find your notes and maybe she could borough her notes.Just make up something so you can get next to her. Good luck !
