I thought only God could judge people. Isn't this a sin as bad as any other and aren't they supposed to love and accept everyone?

I dont see how my post is judgemental? I said a lot of Christians not all and you'd have to be blind not to admit that there is a lot of judging going on by so called Christians despite the Bible explicity warning against such behaviour.

I won't judge other Christians but I get the feeling someone is.

Everyone is judgemental about something. Every religion is judgemental on another. In a perfect world everyone would be accepting, but there isnt such a world. You may also be picking out Christians because 80% of the United States is Christian, so you are just around it more (assuming you live in the US). But, I would have to agree that many Christians are judgemental and I would like for those people to become more accepting. I accept people and their religion, its just a matter of respect. Some judgement on people is alright and necessary so just use proper discretion. And yes, no sin is greater than another, they are all equal. And God does place the final judgement on a person.

The thing is is that we're all sinners. No one can be perfect. We may try not to judge others but yet our sinful nature gets the best of us and so judgements happen. Thank God that we have a Savior that has taken away all of those sins...even the sins that we're not aware of. We should pray to God for strength so that He can help us from continually falling into those sins of judging and not loving others.

Because they think they are RIGHTEOUS!
Those kind even judge other christians.

They feel better when they are dispensing Gods word, because they think they are "helping" God..

OOHHH BOY, get out of the way of those people. I once watched five of them destroy a church of 100. After about six months of their holy "help" there were only 35 people still coming to church. Which side do you think they were actually "helping"? I think they did the work of satan.

Dats all folks

Being Judgemental is just part of their belief system. Either you are with us or against us.

The problem I have with Christians is that they play the victim so well. If you say anything against them, suddenly they are nailing together their own crosses and climbing up on them. If their god is so powerful. Why are they all victims? Why is it always someone else's fault?

It is time they accepted responsibility and stop blaming it all on Christ.

There is nothing wrong with righeous judgment. The verse that says judge not is never fully completed when people speak. It further says , that by the same measure you judge you shall be judged. In other words if your doing the same thing as the other guy and judging him, theres a problem.

"Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment"; and "You have rightly judged."; and "Yes, and why, even of yourselves, do you not judge what is right?"; and "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves". (Jesus' Words in John 7:24; Luke 7:43, 12:57 and Matt. 23:15)

There is an extremely serious error that is being believed by the vast majority of people caught up in christian religion. This error is literally making those folks unwilling and unable to discern truth. And what is this error? It is believing that all "judgment" is wrong. If this is true, then what is to be made of Jesus' Words above? In the verses above, Jesus clearly commands people to judge, commends people for judging, and judges himself.

The key point to understand is that not all judgment is wrong, just various types of judgment. The types of judgment that are wrong according to Jesus are condemnation, as well as hypocritical and self-righteous judgment. On the other hand, right judgment is commended by Jesus as we see above. Right judgment includes the judging of truth versus falsehood. The sincere, serious and sober judgment of our own sins, as well as the gentle, and compassionate judgment and correction of other's beliefs or sins.

The hypocrisy can be astounding ... "do as I say, not as I do". I've known many Baptist and Pentecostal folks who relished in gossiping about other church members ("for the sake of prayer"). I've seen many people leave the church because their reputations were damaged, all over tittle-tattle. Once words are spoken, it is very hard to take them back. It takes only a few wagging tongues to put damage mechanisms in high gear.

The attitude seems to be that once people are "saved", they feel that God loves them more than the non-believer and that they can simply say a little prayer and all is forgiven. What a foolish notion. And then they wonder why people refuse to listen to them.

You are right only GOD is the judge. People like to point other sins because it hides theirs. Now we also need to point out sin in a loving way.

You are right, God is the judge. The reason "christians" like to judge others is that most of them are loosers who are told they amount to something because they give their money to their crooked preachers--that being saps is what makes them worthwhile human beings even tho they aren't, so because they are ha ha better than everybody else they get to condemn people who are better than themselves.
