If you are interested in having a discussion between faiths/lack of faith i.e. theists with atheists, christians with muslims, etc., what would you want to talk about? Something beyond the typical mindless "How can you not believe in God?", "How can you believe in God?", "Why do you believe in a book that teaches terrorism?" questions. Something that actually invites discussion rather than finger-pointing.

...I already asked a genuine question. A couple, actually. I asked for a definition of God and I also asked whether or not prayer influences the decisions God makes.

I would welcome a good dialog on the basis of how religion has played a part in the world's situation. And by religion I mean..being religious..not a dialog about the differences in faith beliefs. Do you know just how many different "faiths" there are in our world today? And how many have caused wars? Just in the so-called Christian sects there are so many. Too much is my answer. Organized religions are the main problems today.

I think I would steer the conversation towards children's TV shows or else shows for teenagers. Most of us should be able to agree on values which include being kind and polite to others.

This isn't a forum for dialogue, and it always fails miserably when people try to use it as one.

This is a question-answer forum where each person gets 1 post per topic.

A standard message board would be more appropriate and condusive to a "dialogue"
