I totally agree. I mean, I see no point, I think it is people tring to be funny but not doing a very good job, or athist. Not all athist are jersk like that, but some are, and I think it is a shame and a waste of space, time, and points to make questions like that.

The person who is asking the question about eating candy in church might be a young teenager. "We" could be from age ? to 100 and some people at the age of 100 sometimes act like small children. Think about it and love your neighbor.

Some people have serious guilt issues and really do think eating candy leads to hell or at least some form of consequence.

Nobody who asks a serious question about God in Yahoo! Answers actually expects an answer. They expect people to concur with their beliefs.
Anyone who asks a not so serious question about God, such as your example, expects to make other people giggle.......
No, I do not think that they are ashamed, I think they are addressing a need to display their sophmoric humor. I think God would approve. You don't think God has a sense of humor?
Nobody ever poked a little good natured fun at you?

Eating candy in church won't land you in Hell, but it might distract you enough that you don't hear God's message. We always want to make sure we're doing the right thing by Jesus.

When I ask questions here, I really like to get serious answers.
The stupid questions are quite a drag, I agree.
I have to admit though that it is funny to see the fundies get all PO'd and start playing mindless cut and paste!!

Because the Bible is so confusing and contradictory. Just one, one single little line written by some priests in the 600's BCE copied from some earlier Babylonian texts they'd read in exile and for two thousand years we've been persecuting and killing homosexuals! WTF? And people want to enforce those rules still today. When will people wake up and stop abusing their kids with that confusing stupid false fraudulent shitte?

They should be ashamed. But then, look at some of the other questions that are asked on here and guess the idiot level.
