just water? 40 days. But I can't really think of any situation where you'd have enough clean, drinkable water but no food available to you. That just doesn't make sense.

maximam 3 weeks... but ya i know tht in india a man survived without water 4 5 years... but maximam as far as i know... u can only survive 4 2 to 3 weeks...

in india there is a man "Hira ratan manek", he is living on only water since last many years. He is a strict follower of Jainism.
