I need a moderate price (preferably below $250) that takes very good quality photos but is also small and fashionable. Any suggestions?

Ok if you want a small portable camera that fits in your pocket you sould go with a Canon Power Shot SD600.
If you want a High-end fixed lens camera you should go with a Canon Power Shot S3 because it has azoom lens, and many of the exposure and focus controls that are found on SLR cameras.
So yah that's what you might want to go with I know even though I'm 14 I know one or two or so things about what each camera does.

Fuji Finepix. Easy to use, sharp lens, good exposure.

not sure but Konica Minolta is a great camera. i have a dimage A200 its like 500 bucks but is incredible.
