The only way they would come close is if they would nuke our troops as we are trying to attack. That is unlikely though, because our missile, and air, defense is pretty darn good right now. I'm in the Army and a Vet of Operation Enduring Freedom. Our new Patriot Missile system can stop just about any missile trying to come our way. (It's a mid range weapon system used on the battlefield)
If they did nuke us, then the counterstrike would be unbelievable. Americans wouldn't let the government settle for anything less.

They're a fly on the rear of elephant. Just imagine what we would do if ANYBODY were to nuke any Americans, anywhere in the world and we were to trace the source of the nuke back to Iran?
