You need to go to the doctor. If it is in fact lodged in your lung, that thing could react with the enzymes in your lungs and you could be looking at a serious infection.

well there is no safe way in which you can do this by yourself, so dont try it. You need to go see a doctor. the choices would be ER or Pulmonologist (lung doctor). You need to have an xray to see where this thing is lodged, may even need a CT scan to get a better idea. (not an MRI as this is a metalic object.
If you are lucky they should be able to fish this out through aflexible bronchoscope. BUT DONT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY...if you ignore it you can end up with an empyema or PUS in the lungs...something you dont want. I would go to the ER as soon as possible.

Do you see how bad is body-piercing now???I don't know for USA,but here in Serbia,someone stands behind you and kicks you on your back to throw out a thing.

the heimlick menover,sometimes when you lay on the couch with your feet at the head and your back where you sit with your head at the floor it may come out that way also.
