It's not the Islamic world which has declared a war; it was Bush. Sure, the terrorists of 9/11 started all this, but what has Iraq got to do with it? What does the muslim world have to do with it? Were the Iraqis guilty of Sadam's dictatorship? .........Are the Americans guilty of Bush's dictatorship? Guess not. People should stop blaming Islam and open their eyes to see what's really going on. The vast majority of muslims are very loving and peaceful people. In fact, the terrorists doing all those gruesome things in the name of Islam are not muslims at all, because what they do opposes Allah's word. Since the word 'muslim' means 'one who bows down to God's will', those terrorists do not qualify as muslims.

It's true i mean were does their hatred for muslims go when they are being seen by a muslim doctor or when a muslim policemen deals with their case or as you said even when a muslim is serving them at a shop?
Oh just to add muslims are protesting against terroism the media just isn't reporting it, last month there was a four day protest in london started on thursday ended on sunday, there was another one in london which took place right after the 7-7 bombings there was one last week in birmingham. There was one this month held in australia. There have been some protests held in pakistan and bangladesh. The media is not reporting the many protests muslims are making against these terrorist attacks, muslims can not help if their efforts are being ignored by the media!

You're correct the U.S. isn't at war with Muslims, Muslims are at war with us. Some Muslims attacked the United States. There are Muslims here that would do us great harm if they could, just as there are Muslims who just want to be left alone and live their lives.
Problem is there are Muslims who want to start forcing their belief system in our schools -- look at the problem France and England are having with Muslims.
It's wonderful to want to get along with everyone but let's be realistic, when you have a large group of Muslims moving in they want to change things to their agenda. This changing of things won't be tolerated by most Americans. Right now it's very subtle but sooner or later things are going to become apparent -- ask England, they're finding out the hard way.
America....WAKE UP!

well its nice that most people dont judge the rest of us (muslims) as the extremists.and thank u guys for the support. its not that we are'nt doint anything against such extremists. but somehow the media is not allowing our voices to be heard.

It takes time for develop, as you will locate Turkey, Egypt and Jordan have already signed peace treaties with Israel. it fairly is not any longer common for them to settle for the Jewish State while they felt it to be an Arab usa. yet in time they're going to finally settle for Israel via fact's Israel and that isn't replace.

No renunciations have been forthcoming from any of the top clerics of the islamic world so far.
I monitor CBC, BBC, CNN, and read a number or Israeli and muslim web sites -nothing so far.
I have five muslim friends plus a pharmacist chick, all very quiet when one asks what is goingo n.

Well, the way the media paints it, you'd never know it, but you are quite right.
MOST Muslims are kind, peace loving people. I work with many, and they are my friends.
