There should be breeder listings, and also maybe local club listings on the national breed club website. Contact someone in your area.
You could also try joining a yahoo group for your breed as well as all breed ones like showdogs plus, and showdogs. Lots of knowledgable people on those groups!

Uh..the local(county) kennel, club for starters.
