I dont think you should have been "cured" as such because as far as I am aware the condition has no cure.
I do think you should have had some form of counselling in order to be able to adapt to life as a female.
I think it should be up to the person themselves to seek help as it is not life threatening but if they seek help then they should be given it.

i think careful screening could be utilized to be sure thiose presented surgical operation are doing it via fact's what's had to lead them to happy and that they do no longer look to be only fantasizing approximately doing it. Typing as a bypass fabric cabinet i could say that I have not got any gender dysphoria, i understand that i'm male, I only prefer to gown up in females's outfits for sexual kicks! I have not got any prefer to be lady however at circumstances I delusion approximately it yet I comprehend that that's organic delusion and that it is not what i choose. In some people's suggestions i could wish "help" or "cured" yet all my dressing is executed interior the privateness of my residing house or hotel and any activities I bask in while dressed are all consensual and for this reason i think happy as i'm and require no therapy of any variety.

Other people don't have those answers for you. It's a very personal decision, although I wonder what drives some people to change their body that much- could it be that society makes people feel "wrong" in their gender by forcing to many gender stereotypes on people.

helped, there is no "CURE", there's nothing wrong with you. i totally believe that you can be assigned the wrong sex while gestating. they're closer to proving it with gay men, the woman's body has it's own agenda. if it knows it's already had a male child it will try to make a female child or vice versa. this discovery was made this year, it's very interesting

No matter WHAT we ARE; we have to figure out WHO we are- first. Once we know THAT- we can make our decisions from there. If we DON'T, then nothing should be changed until we KNOW what we're doing. -Anyone who tries to help us- should operate on that basis also. It's a heck of alot easier to change ones mind, than it is to change ones body & lifestyle.

Goodness, I have no idea. Do what feels right in your heart. This is totally beyond me, but I truly hope you find peace and love the person you are, whichever sex you wind up being.

You are pretty much responsible for fulfilling your potential at anything, whether it's being a female or a dentist. Please don't expect government help for your problems. I don't get it for mine.

You should be able to be happy with who you are inside and not made to feel different or typecast. Live and let live.
