The United States is the leading nation currently committing brutalities and injustices, yet Washington is home to a government which claims to be the ultimate moral authority on the globe. While invading and occupying nations which posed no threat to them, slaughtering innocent civilians, and torturing suspected enemies, the United States continues to mouth empty platitudes about spreading freedom and democracy, pompously lecture other nations on human rights, and hypocritically determine which nations are too “evil” to be trusted with nuclear technology.

well, it;s one of the oldest tricks in the book, isn;t it? 1.Define an enemy to unite your people. 2. Scare the **** out of your people (regarding said enemy) to make them grateful when you run wild in their name. Hitler was pretty good at that sort of thing too.

The U.S. is not the leading country in brutality and injustice, China is. And Iraq's leader had killed 2 1/2 million people. We did not torture anyone, it was just some sadists on their own. And North Korea and Iran have threatened to cause a second Holocaust. A nuclear war would be started by them and BILLIONS would die.

Moral authority can never be taken by a person or a country, it can only be given by a people. Certainly the current administration of the U.S. has made grievous, even criminal, errors. But, or course, so have the administrations of all the countries.

The only solution is for people to first be examples of the morality they want to see, but also to become active in their governments and demand others embody morality as well.

Your remark concerns me too. As a Muslim i'm popular with what indicrimnate hatred may deliver about (ex.9/eleven). Extremists are the basically winners in those situations. We Muslims are warned now to not change into severe no remember what: 5:8 O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to straightforward dealing, and enable no longer the hatred of others to you're making you swerve to incorrect and leave from justice. Be basically: it quite is next to piety: and worry Allah. For Allah is properly-popular with all that ye do. those who supply in to severe voices basically make contributions to the problem and complicate it besides.

Do you really want a nation that is ruled by religion to have the capability to create a nuclear bomb? You need to re-evaluate your stance my friend, for all of our sakes! Religion combined with such descructive force will lead to our demise.
