ok here is my theory. I think God set nature in place at the beginning of time just like gravity. He gave us charge over it, but the more unnatural things we do, the more unnatural things happen, By unnatural I mean Killing, Raping, just things that are against God. Im sure many of you wont agree but I think an inbalance in nature is the cause of the Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, Two headed babies, Babies with no brains etc. Maybe I think too much! lol

I dont think God causes anything. When he created Nature it was perfect when he gave it to us we screwed it all up.

Im a christian so I believe we are set apart from animals. God made us in his image not physically but in every other way. We are not animals and cant be compared to them. He gave us dominion over animals they were created to be just what they are we were made to be more.

I think that's ridiculous. You only need to look at it as human nature. This is a human problem, not God's justice.

Thinking too much? Can never happen! Thinking about things such as this shows desire for truths...never a bad thing...
You're on the right track, too...it is the mass consciousness of a concept that creates great force, whether that be negative or positive...Earth has thus become one of the most negatively charged places in all of Creation...
However...with great purpose as well...it provides our spirit Selfs (our real beingness) with the most experiences to grow & learn from in the shortest amount of time...if we take that opportunity to do so. If you think deeper, how much do we actually learn during times of ease & well-being? Very little, right? Usually, we take a deep breath, lay back, & enjoy the calm...we can do that when we get Home...we came here to experience the opposites of that bliss, to grow strength in the overcoming...the forgiveness & compassion in abusiveness, the love through the hate...See?

The "unnatural" things you describe are completely natural. Animals rape and murder, not just humans. For example, do some research on dolphins. They commit gang rape and murder porpoises for sport.
Humans have the capacity to control their animal instincts, but most refuse to make the effort. That is the cause of "unnatural" actions like rape and murder. It isn't some religious idea like "turning away from God" or "the influence of Satan."

You ask a very good thought-provoking question about nature, and the balance of mankind tied to nature.
You do no think too much. I believe you are thinking along the right path of things. Mankind needs to stop and think. What is God's why? And why are things going so array?
I have to agree with you in many aspects of your thinking.

Very interesting and thought provoking. It's like going against the balances of natures..the laws are set yet we have the power to disturb things!
Very good!

Hmmm....I guess in a way it makes sense. God has given us free will, and it does seem at times that human nature has gotten worse.
PS- you don't think too much, the world needs more people to consider these issues. :)

God gave you a brain to think with, so just keep thinking! For all you know, you may be right. In Proverbs, I think, it says, "It's the glory of God to create a mystery, and the glory of kings to figure it out."

What a horrid idea to think that because someone chooses to rape or kill, that someone else will have a baby born with no brain. *shakes head*
How could anyone believe such things were connected...or some "god" would cause or allow them? *shudders*

i agree with u ... the more we go astray from God's commands .. the more "bad stuff" happens to us.. wether it be tsunami, katrina, earth quakes etc etc.....
this is a reminder from God that its hi-time we mend our ways n start followin Allah's (God's) commands.....
but these afflictions r God's wrath on some n a reminder for some.. since not all of the ppl r the same!!!!
