Well, yes, I'd have to say so, if they can't start using birth control and common sense. It doesn't take that much knowledge between most people. Even Nicaragwan's and Etheopian's have enough sense to not reproduce if they cannot afford such a life.

I'd say it was Mexico that is the worlds baby making champions...However, when it comes to baby feeding and raising, no where is Mexico seen in the top 100.

Most Mexican's aren't the smartest of people, but then again, they have genetics that keep them childish... IE: Look up Mexican genetics and psychology.

Other than that, if they don't get their act together, than yes, there will be plenty more Mexicans-- and America will soon become another 3rd world nation if they keep living the way they do.

That is not statistically likely, for multiple reasons.

#1. The immigration rate from Asian countries has surpassed the immigration rate of Mexicans in California. If anything, statistically speaking, the US is more likely to be overrun by Asians than it is by Mexicans because, theoretically speaking, China could decide to open its borders and let its billion people all move to the US. And with the overcrowding in Korea, Japan and the Philippines, more people from those nations are coming here than ever before.

#2. There's still a significant number of Latino immigrants who are not from Mexico, but from places like El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua, Venezuela or Dominican Republic. Spanish may very well become the second un-official official language (remember, English is not even technically our OFFICIAL language), but that doesn't mean all the Spanish speakers are coming from Mexico.

#3. Despite all the illegal Mexicans who enter the US every year, there is a significant number of them who DO eventually gain their citizenship in the US and are no longer Mexicans, but Americans of Mexican descent. There's a big difference.

Well if you think about it and do some history research...Native Indians were the first ones to live in the Americas. then came the Europeans.... but Mexicans and other people from Latin America were already in the American Continents...they are the product from the mixture between Europeans (mostly Spaniards) and Indians. And if you do a little more research and look around.... the people in the USA today are the product of many races from all over the world that came to live in what is now the USA. So this question doesn't make sense.

So what if half the population is going to be Mexican in the future. If the present birth rates and stuff are going on the Latins will have majority in like 2050. This country is made up of immigrants (and one reason why are successful) its bound to happen that one of the immigrant groups will be from a certain region eventually.

The Census Bureau estimates that by 2050, over half the population will be Mexican or of Mexican origin (that means they have a "z" in their name). That's because they breed like rabbits and rats and have never heard of birth control.

According to recent polls the USA has a total population of 298,444,215. Mexico's total population is 107,449,525. So if every person in Mexico came to the USA they would still be short by 41,772,582 people to be half of our current population.

So to answer your quasi-question, no half of the population of the USA is not Mexican.

I think half the population is a stretch, but what difference does it make? You still keep your beliefs and values, only the scenery is changing. People need to be more understanding. Before you jump on the welfare / 911 bandwagon, understand that it is not just hispanics that are entering this country. It is just that hispanics are an easy target for the media. And to those who think it's about welfare, you cant get welfare benefits if you are not a citizen...You gotta have a social security number.

No, not yet. Maybe minority non-white (inlcuding African Americans and Asians), but not Mexican alone. For a breakdown by race and/or ethnicity, go to the Census Bureau web site.

Not at all. It will be Chinese, Korean, Guatemalan, Asian Indian, Pakistani and every other national origin under the sun. Because native-born American women aren't having many babies, and what native-born Americans there are can't or won't do the jobs -- skilled or not -- that migrants seem to want to do.
