It may take a few tries, but my uncle (who is a barber) told me this trick for the eyebrows, which should work on the mustache area too.. Shave it like you normally do, then put rubbing alcohol over the area. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but it does.

Laser is the main way but you can also try electrolysis. Both are painful.

You can wax it and eventually it will stop growing back. You can also have a procedure done called electrolysis.
