It can happen more than once. But still...real love is hard to come by (between two people..one sided is easy to find - between two is what makes it real..and should be lasting)...but, if one partner dies or if the union does fall apart...it can indeed happen again..as long as you remain open to it.

That depends upon the person and their life. Some may find one person and spend their life with only them and never love another. Others may have things happen where they loose the one they love and eventually find another. I don't think there is a time limit but I don't think there are more than a few times when we really find true love and we often don't know it until long after it is gone, we also often mistake a relationship for true love simply because that is what we want it to be.

There is only one True love even though you may fall in love many times. You will always have the True love in your heart for as long as you live.

My answer would have to be one, but I will try to justify it. When we get into a relationship, we develop strong feelings for the person we are with, we define these feelings as love. When a relationship goes wrong and a couple separate, it hurts, usually lots. However, eventually these feelings do die down and when we become involved in another relationship we develop strong feelings for our new partner, even if the last one has left us with a small emotional scar. The simple fact is, anyone who is worth your tears, won't make you cry, this is the person you spend the rest of your life with, and your one and only true love.

Just the one, you may have many loves in your life some really painful loves as well.
but that really true love you will remember all your life.
I lost my true love 44 years ago, I have loved since and have wonderful children and with 5 grand kids my life is full.
But that true love is still there in my mind and always will be.

i think for many people this is different, alot of people have alot of true loves, some have 1 true love and some have a few.
i believe that there is 1 person out there that you are meant to be with, this person is your Soul Mate, some people pass their Soul Mates on the street and never know it, other people search a lifetime for their Soul Mate and never find them, then you have those people like me, who found their Soul Mate and lost them and have been searching for them ever since, and last but not least, you have the people who are living a life of bliss and happiness with the one person that they are meant to be with, their "Soul Mate".

I think you can't limit it, there are always opportunites to meet a true love. So I guess...as many as we can handle.
