The Big Bang formed the universe as we know it. Before that, matter was condensed more than we could really fathom. Some scientists have theorized that this is part of a cycle, that the universe may have expanded and recondensed before.

Also, this is part of science. We don't claim to know everything. The thing about science is that we are constantly working to find more out.

In marriage, doesn't the ring symbolize no beginning and no end? What if there were no big bang? Can't prove it existed and you can't prove it didn't.
I read somewhere that archaeological evidence found shows that civilization appeared in Egypt & Sumeria about the same time. So, since ancient Egypt developed a radically different system of beliefs involving no mention of a Yahweh but it does have similarities to American Indian tribal worship, to me that disqualifies any (but for me mostly Xian) Abrahamic belief.
Therefore, if the Big Bang THEORY turns out not to be correct (as of now, I do not know), that doesn't mean Xianity is all of a sudden true. Just means another theory has been disproven.
There's one theory in Dan Brown's 'Demon & Angels' Something about a scientist showing two systems of energy colliding with the result that matter was formed. From there, millions of years could produce different substances which eventually result in our formation...

There was nothing before the big bang. Couldn't have been. Now, some people believe there may have been some form of extrinsic hyperdimensional space where the big bang's cause resided, but internally, there was nothing before the big bang.

Why would you think science has every answer? Only religion claims that.

No one knows what existed before the big bang, do you? Are you going to say god was here? Good answer

Atheists! God Exists! Christians! There is no God! Liberals! You are all a bunch of fossies! Conservatives! You are all a bunch of Rambos! Taco Bell! Nacho cheese wasn't made for Burritos! Jack in the Box! Kangaroos are not food!

Maybe a little understanding could help our social climate a little!

Time is part of the big bang, thus there is no "before the big bang".

The same way you explain things before God.

Except, no. I'm not afraid to say it:

I don't know.
