That just isn't fair, for example when some, SOME NOT ALL, are speeding they don't get ticketed. The cop will 'let it go' because they are famous. Do you think thats fair, i don't it makes me mad. Also why do celebrities think they are better then regular people when we are they're main money source? It just make me mad because if noone bouht their CD's or wen to their movies they would be no where. I'm not balming celebrities but is that really fair to treat other people differently because of their status.

I'm with you on this one. Everyone pulls their pants on one leg at a time, as the old saying goes, but some of the celebrities throw their weight (name) around and the law let's them slide. If you or I were to do a fraction of what some of these people do we would never see the light of day. We need a government that works for the people, not some of the people, all the time. The slogan for our next presidential campaign should be "If You Do The Crime, Then You'll Do The Time". This slap on the wrist or a petty fine handed to celebrities for DUI or Child Molestation or Murder needs to end and some long time prison terms handed out, maybe then they will understand just because they have golden records or Emmy awards don't make them above the law. The law was written for ALL mankind!

Everyone's a Fan. The fact that they did something that no one else would usually have the capability to do gives them the big head to be rude. Most people are too wrapped up in gettting a job and finding security to go out and truly make something great of themselves internationally, except a select few. Because of this and the fact that they know that they can win over the rest of the country, while you are left without that type of spending money or leverage, they don't mind that they're not going to get your 8 dollar royaltly from their just dropped CD or Movie that just came out. Does it make some people angry? Yeah. But does it mean they're better than you? Not on Humane levels of existance and being but as far as status goes, you can be darn sure.

Money talks and people walk. That is the price we pay being in America. Governments, all forms, normally favor the rich and famous. Every once in awhile someone will finally get taken to court to get a slap on the hand by a judge but that's about it. I am not saying it is right, because it is not right. I think it will never change though.

Yes...true...life's not fair...celebrities definitely can escape from the law very easily. Especially, in serious cases, when they are charged with something like murder, rape, etc...they get off easy, and a regular person/non-celebrity would be sent to jail for life...

I think it is becaue money, fame, people panting after you
for autographs, standing in line for hours just hoping they'll
say hello, red carpet treatment, all can go to someones
head, and they become rude and arrogant, not all, but
quite a few. Look at how weird Micheal Jackson is, and
he is adored all over the world, some even get away with
murdrer, you know who I am referring to.!

No, its not fair. The celebrities should get the same treatment as the regular civilians do.

Actually, I don't believe an honest police officer would give them 'any special treatment'. Heck, they even hand out tickets to Judges, Senators and if caught, the President of the US.

I agree that it's not fair, however "fair" kind of goes out the window after Kindergarten. There a lots of things in life that are not fair.

I notice this too. Many of them claim to be "everyday" people yet the law always expemts them from every crime from murder to speeding. I like Lindsay Lohan, she should have beeen busted for underage drinking when she was getting drunk with Tara Reid when she was 18.
