Oh My God! Scott County MS just got a severe thunderstorm warning for nickel size hail and damaging winds to 60 mph and I am very scared, what should I do? This is so scary.

Just stay away from the windows and keep a flashlight on hand in the event of a power outage. You'll be fine. I've been through storms like that more than once. ...and one of those times I was driving home from work when the hail started...marble sized. Margart up there with her all caps answer is getting a little carried away...although her suggestion would be appropriate for a tornado.

STAY AWAY FROM ALL THE WINDOWS AND DOORS. UNPLUG ANYTHING ELECTRICAL SUCH AS YOUR COMPUTER AND MAYBE TELEVISION. TAKE A RADIO IF YOU ARE ABLE TO AND GO INTO EITHER AN INTERIOR ROOM WITH OUT WINDOWS OR THE BATHROOM AND SIT IN THE BATHTUB. I HEAR IF YOU DON'T HAVE A BASEMENT THE BATHTUB IS THE SAFEST PLACE YOU CAN GO. JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOMETHING COVERING YOU UP SO THAT FALLING DEBRIS DOESN'T HURT U TOO BADLY. STAY SAFE!!!

Just keep an eye on the news I am sure you will be alright. If you would feel better maybe try going to a close friend or families home.
