Put your arms out and form 90° angles at your elbows then twist at the waist 180° to the left and right for 20 minutes a day. Your "handles" will be gone in 3 weeks.

Yoga is good all around. It can help you train some muscles that we usually do not use.
However, reading from several places answers to questions that people had on how to lose the belly fat, fr example, it is generally not possible to remove some fat from some particular places. In order to achieve this goal a person will have to work on the complete body composition.
And again, as one persone before put it, give it more time.

Cardio burns fat, your thin enough all ready. What you need to do is tone. Ask the trainer at your gym for some toning exercises. You'll see a major difference in less than a month if you do it atleast 4 times a week.

Crunches work, but mix up your ab exercises. Do Planks three every other day and try for 45-60 secs a rep. They look easy but it seriously engages your core which will help your love handles. Try yoga and pilates for engaging your core too..

Eating good carbs instead of bad ones help. See below site. Here is what CA governor does for this. Puts stick, not barbell, on his shoulders and twists each way. Isn't that strange, but his muscles got him to where he is today.

Maybe you don't have love handles. Maybe you need to buy pants that are one size larger. Really.
At 5'5" and 117lbs, you are a lean shapely woman. Be happy with who you are.
Remember that real beauty comes from within.
Keep smiling!

I would try to do 3 reps of 20 leg lift's. They work the thigh and butt muscles.

You should be working your abs out as well. It does take time to build the muscles up there and once the fat starts to go away the muscles will show up big time!
Good luck!
