Use a good varnish like Krylon UV Clear or Golden Polymer or MSA varnish. Please don't use varathane or urathane - only a certain type will not yellow, all others yellow considerably. Varnishes, by their very nature, must be removeable - check the label to be sure.

Caution: Polymer medium is not a varnish, it's a polymer emulsion just like acrylic paint. It remains permeable indefinitely - fingerprints, liquids and airborne pollutants can actually become embedded permanently in its surface and ruin a painting.

Drying time can variety finding on the thickness of the paint. in maximum situations you will possibly desire to probably wait a minimum of a million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previously varnishing. BTW do no longer follow linseed oil or you will finally end up with one great sticky mess!
