Meet halfway and tell your close family/friends whats going on so no one worries. Lots of people meet off the internet, it's really not a big deal as long as you don't do anything stupid. Make sure you get your own hotel room and go somewhere fun. If you end up not liking him then you can at least have a mini vacation somewhere nice.

It all depends on how old you are. If you aren't old enough to make your own decisions, drive a car, buy a plane ticket, etc. DONT DO IT! If you must do it, meet in a public place and don't give him any personal information. He could stalk you, or turn out to something you don't want him to be at all. Meet in a crowded public place, so if things turn bad, you can run, and other people will be around so he won't do anything stupid. But like I said, it all depends on the age you are, and I suggest waiting until your at least 18 or 21.

Chat several times and ask detailed questions that will give you a better feel about who the person is. Then it's probably a good idea to take someone (a friend) with you for the first meeting

Its not a bad thing, just make sure you've spent a decent amount of time on the phone, talking, getting to know each other, and limit the first couple meetings to a public place.

you will cause worry b/c their are some dodgy ppl online and they are concerned for you're safety. If you are going to meet someone make sure you go with someone e.g friend, family member-maybe an older sister, just DO NOT go on your own b/c it's dangerous.

Don't do it. Have you used a web cam? Your going to spend how much money for what? My aunt left my uncle for a guy she met though AOL. Now my aunt is alone and sleeps on her sisters couch.

Meet in a public place. Don't tell him where you live or take him to your house.
