if they say there is no one that looks like you or resembles you in any way than why is it that when you sometimes meet new people that you've never met and are not related to you in any way, have almost exactly like you in personality and are very close to what you look like in some ways? is it just coincidence, or just something completely strange?
this is a question i just hered and i cant figure out the answer

Good question. Take a DNA comparison test.
It is possible that they are related, but I think God ran out of new faces, and thought you would never meet.

The question was probably being asked by someone who either thought that they were adopted (or the product of an extramarital affair) or believes in some form of metaphysical shared souls or soul mates.
Adoptee children and those of absentee fathers, sometimes feel a sense of estrangement from their families even when their status is unknown to them. People who believe in the paranormal report sensing familiar ‘vibes’ from strangers and attribute the feeling to some otherworldly connection with that person.
Either of these scenarios are likely answers depending on the context in which the question was asked.

The question is too vague.
In the last sentence it sounds like you're trying to say that "this is a question I just HEARD..."
That would make it heresay, i.e. something that is not necessarily true just because it claims to be. Unless this has actually happened to you personally, you might as well forget about it.
If it has happened to you personally, why not ask the other person if you're related in some way?

two strangers once met who were boyh traveling sales people!!!they wore the same outfits of the same colors the both dealt with automobile parts,parted their hair on the same side and on talking together found that they had both been adopted....turns out thatr they were identical twin given up at birth...and although they had never met...lived within 18 miles of each other for years!!!were married and had the same amount and sexes of offspring!!!!doppelganger is the term used for doubles of ourselves that only meet at the oddest circumstance!!!
