I'm not a smart *** and I don't hate Christians, you have a misconception because a few idiots talk like they do. No all of us Atheists or part Atheists hate anyone really. You probably would never know about my religious affiliation if you met me personally.
We have the unique advantage of being 50% right so consider that leave you with the other 50%. We both could be on the wrong side of the fence. Scary thought huh?

I have several good friend that are atheist. In fact a guy a cared a LOT ( talk about being unequally yoked) was an atheist. I don't hate any one and I am a christian. I respect other people's views, even if they don't respect mine. Not all Christians are fanatical and not all atheist are jerks. We should not hate any one.

You're right athiests are usually very nice and we are usually strongly against killing. We understand how precious life is.
Many athiests dislike some types of christians becasue they are rude to us and our children and they have chosen to believe that we will be punished by the God they willingly worship. That's offensive.
I like being a smartass to ignorant people who are taught to hate others that are not like them. I think they deserve it.

since when does being a smartass make people want to kill you? see, i live in a civilized society, where smartassdom isn't punishable by death. and all the atheists i know are pretty nice people, yahoo notwithstanding.
besides, does this mean that christians are jerks because they know at any point they can just look all puppy-eyed at god and say, "please forgive me"?

There are a lot of smartasses no matter where you look. By the way, I guess your implication is that believers are just rarin' to kick the bucket so they can be in paradise. Sure, right, yeah.

Is this a veiled threat? If you're a believer, you have a commandment that you can't murder anyways. So, should a believer be more afraid that an atheist will murder them or an atheist that a believer will murder them?

Your collective delusions pose a greater threat to the lives of atheists than you do as individuals, particular online where we are mostly anonymous.

They just don't get it....we need to pray for them, not try to convince them with harsh words and criticism. God is the only one that can turn that light on for them. We're to speak gently and lovingly no matter what insults of Christ they throw at us. We knew we'd be persecuted...that's part of it. Behave in a Christlike manner...we may be the only image of Christ they see today.
Atheists/agnostics, my prayer is that God turns the "light" on in you...blessings.

And if you don't believe in genies you won't get your three wishes. Seriously, adults should accept the world as it is, not as how they wish it to be. I grew out of fairytales when I was a child.

You misinterpret us. We don't hate Christians, we simply believe you're wrong. And I do smart-*** things because they're fun. And I want to have fun with my only life.
