What people don't recognise is islam is nothing more nor less than the laws of moses(pbuh) purified where men differ.If people can not follow 10 simple rules how can they fatham the thought of noticing islam with it's true and peacefull glory.Nor what islam really teaches, not what mankind teaches.There is a tremendous difference.There is an answer to everything that exists period.Most like to argue on the simple premise of they do not know.So they will not accept or believe the doctrine of another.It has to be to thier likings.It has to be to thier desires and reasons otherwise it is just wrong.This proverb does not aply to all, but to most.Yes, the world has many problems.But it can not be cured over night.It can not be diagnosed on the knowledge of the truths of people adorn of the 21st century.Nor that of the 20th, 19th, 18th, 17th and so on.We have to go to at least 2000BC to figure out what really happened.Is history truly repeating itself not by decades, but milleniums?From entire progeny of mankind?You are very true that the situations listed above are needed to be dealt with.But whatever excuses given will be accepted by some and denied by many.Or vice versa.Malik Shabazz knew what was going on, so the easiest way to silence one who wants to open peoples minds to the madness is to simply kill him.But to answer your question above, it can be safe in a non islamic society if they simply could obey the laws of moses(pbuh).That will result in true effort to give true thought.And who knows what would have risen out of the ashes of the discovery of the laws of the TRUE GOD.I don't have all the answers nor does any "BUT?".And you don't have all the answers, nor does any "BUT?".But what?As salamun alaikum

But I am not fooled, I have been to the land of islam and i have seen the debris and rubble. I have seen the poor with no hands and feet being tormented day and night by the rich.

I have seen the man living in a cardboard box, and i have seen the children with their bulging malnourished bodies and their hands held out for an alm. I have seen the festering sores on the skin of the untended innocents. And I have seen the strong young men of Islam walkright past these things and purchase a pack of cigarettes and walk on.

you want to see what Islam has for you? Just go to where Islam reigns and walk around for a little while. If you come back with your life, then you will know.

Dude...those things happen in Islamic countries also. I have a video of a man impaled on a pole in front of the whole village...with women and children watching. Imagine what does to a childs mind. I have seen a woman shot in the head with an AK-47 for being out of the house without her hushand. How do think that affected her children? I almost shot and killed a man in Turkey for stealing tools from our military installation. He got away from us...but not from the Turkish Army. They hung him upside down and beat his feet with a baseball bat.

If you are going to try to push your religion...please use some real reasons...like what Allah can do for you to better your life...not some propagandist mumbo jumbo.

depression and bipolar disorder: yeah, i wouldn't have a problem being depressed or manic if, as a woman, i had no thoughts of my own anyway.

suicide: we could up the stats to, maybe, every 5 minutes when we blow ourselves up to kill those infidels!

EVERY society has its issues. Do you REALLY think your child will be "better off" on the streets of Lebanon? Iraq? Or Iran? If you want to set a good example for your child, YOU have to set it. -Don't expect the street outside your door WHEREVER YOU LIVE- to do it for you. If your children don't learn right from wrong from YOU- they'll learn something ELSE- from someWHERE else. There's NO substitute for parental responsibility.
