The ones that climbed down from the trees and said "I am Man" and the ones that fell down and spend their time trying to get back up to heaven. Regardless, we are all Apes. Thoughts?

Ever notice that anti-evolutionists, so certain that evolution is wrong, only seek conversations about this on a RELIGION board?

There are science boards here. Why don't they ever go there and try to tell people over there that evolution is incorrect?

Reason: They know that their hocus-pocus crap would get knocked down in a heartbeat by people with a science background.

that's why they avoid discussing the theory of evolution on the appropriate boards... they are cowards.

Th ape that climbed down the tree and said, as you put it, "I'm the man" is our ancestor.
The ones that sated in the trees became extinct and there for we had on set of ancestor.

Its interesting. I'm an atheist but i personally am not completely convinced by the theory of evolution. I mean if we started off as apes then why are there still apes in the zoo?

So, you're saying that Man is not trying to get to Heaven (Only chimps)? Rather foolish, considering the 2 billion Christians.

Also, we have one common ancestor.

I get that it's a joke, but it's lame.

Evolution had to have happened twice--and simultaneously!

Male and Female at just the correct growth rate....or else we were self pollinating until much later during the evolution of man!

Hey cool! Don actually answered a question with more than just 'yep The God'. Unfortunately, it displays the same level of thought.

Can't both be true? Perhaps, as punishment to make sure that the fallen angels couldn't return, we were created as primal creatures that evolved to our current form.

Not an ape here...are you comfortable with explaining this "truth" on judgment day?

God created Adam and Eve fully human. Modern science affirms biblical creation and refutes darwinian evolution. www.reasons.org
