there are a couple of correctional facilities in Wallkill/Shwangunk NY, if these are the ones you are talking about then just take the NY state thruway to exit 18 (New paltz) then the rest is pretty easy.... I don't know which facilities you are talking about though...

There are serveral institutions up-state. Can you be more specific? I recall one that can best be reached going up the Merrit Parkway.
