I believe He did, because Adam agreed to the sacrifice of the animal God killed to make him clothes. This sacrifice was a type of Christ's sacrifice, and Adam and Eve accepted the covering.
That didn't keep Adam's race (and the planet) from paying the consequences, tho, even as today, the consequences of sin are still present even tho the sin is forgiven.

Good question. No he did not and will not forgive Adam. Unlike us, Adam was made perfect. Being perfect means you have perfect judgement and physical body. He was not stupid, he was wise. But he chose to pursue his wife's course instead that of Jehovah's (God). Since he was perfect, he will not be forgiven for his sin. But since we never had the taste of perfectibility, we will be given a chance to prove ourselves faithful.

adam did what he was supposed to do he was supposed to eat the fruit he did it so man might be. but yes god forgives those who truly repent

Yes. he did forgive Atom, but not us.That is why we suffer so much. God is taking it out on us, but he loves Atom, or maybe is in love with Atom. Nobody really knows.
