Jenny Talz,
I think that the question is:
What is Saudi Arabia getting out of the deal? And what kind of thing is the USA getting out of the deal?
That's politics.
I think that where youa re going wrong is assuming that the USA is run by religion. I believe that it clearly shows that it isn't. It may have certain laws that are influenced by Christians, but the USA isn't run per se, by religious affliation. It's the political/legal parts of our population that runs it.
"Is the USA really against Islam, or is this just an excuse for filthy Islamic Jihadian propoganda being spewed in mosques worldwide?"
You see you have it wrong there too. It's the Filthy Terrorists that are setting the pace for what the USA thinks about Islam. They have shown that they are illogical, murderers, and religious fanatics to the extreme. And that is aggravated when we in the US are told that we are brainwashed. 911 was not a brainwash, it was what we believe is our future if we don't stomp the living crap out of them where they live.

Everyone knows President Bush has oil wells that he owns in Kuwait. So does his father.. They are very close friends with the Saudi Arabians. when 9/11 happened they were the only ones allowed to leave the USA. In fact special governmental jets were provided to get them safely out of the USA.
there has never been any secret that the Bushes and the Saudi's
are very close. When Saddam tried to come into Kuwait.
As it had just about every where else in the gulf region. The Bushes immediately went to war to protect the Saudi's.
Gulf War. Wether they kill Christians by beheading or not.
Matters little to the Bushes. They only pretend to be loyal to Christianity. After all the United Council of Churches in America donated millions of dollars to his campaign. The Churches got him elected by saying that is what God wants. Remember religion is big business. Republicans are for big businesses.
Cutting all aid to the poor and the after school help programs.
So religion in USA is hardly for the poor or the disadvantaged.
They have to be against something to look lagetamate.
So speak out against a class that generally doesn't vote like gays.
Or unwed women having abortions. Don't kid yourself it is all about the money. As one magazine put it Bushes don't work for the oil companys they are the oil companys. They own the oil wells.

You really represent the american thought process....very limited. USA is not against Islam only Terrorists, furthermore Saudi Arabia pretty much owns USA, try to read some books and stop watching FOX News. Furthermore USA reliance on Oil for the SUVs that you all drive guzzling and destroying the environmnent is all from the Middle East...without it you will perish as you dont produce enough oil for yourselves. So USA doesnt really give a rats *** about What the Saudis Think USA cares only for its supply of oil and the Saudis only care about money. Fantastic parntership where everyones pockets are LINED despite the stupid chaos inbetween.
Do you really think the Gulf War was about saving the Kuwaitis?
Do you really think Gulf war 2 is really about saving the IRAQI's? Cmon get a grip woman

You really should look at the history of the Middle East. Few countries there under their present form are more than 100 years old. It is made up of Monarchies (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Syria), Theocracies (Iran), Dictatorships, Autocracies and young Democracies. Within them there is no unity and because of the wests' reliance on the region for energy there has to be alliances. Would you like to rely on Iran for your energy needs? The area is unstable as Saddam's' invasion of Kuwait proved. The UK has this week sold 72 Euro-fighters to Saudi Arabia in the knowledge they will not be used to bomb or gas their own population but will be a deterrent to anyone like Saddam thinking of invasion. While not democracies I'm sure your average citizen in both Saudi and Kuwait are happy with their lot in that they also have benefited from the nations wealth and it is not being exported to fight religious battles.

I quite disagree with you by saying that USA supports Islam greatly by supporting Saudi Arabia. USA in fact hate Islam by the nature of its activities in Saudi Arabia. The data mamagement of the Saudi national Bank is in the hands of some Americans who are doing nothing than to pilfer with their hard erned and terminal oil resources.
Americans have infiltrated that country to the extent that recently the Royal government of Saudi Arabia made some changes in their school curricula which was meant to satisfy Israel and USA. The change in the curricula was to stop the spread of any form of education that is anti-Israel or America to the detriment of the yearnings of its citizens. Sermons in the Mosques are to be doctored to exclude extensively anti Israeli slogans or messages.
So i have not seen anything the Americans have done that suggests love or support for Saudi Arabia. They have rather modernise that old colonial tacticts of the British of the 11th to 18th century colonialisation. And unfortunately the leaders of this countries did not realise this.

Not against Islam, but against the extremist Islamists who interpret it incorrectly.
Oil perhaps. The USA is tied up with so many relationships with different countries, promises to everyone, and perhaps Saudi Arabia is just too important or something for the US to risk losing it as an 'ally'.

your acting as if usa built saudi arabia it was actually the other way round, saudi arabia should of invested in some other country prefably a muslim one they would have made so much more money aswell. and dont exaggerate on your arguement, there already are christians who work in saudi arabia, its evangelic extremists like you who cause trouble in the first place. dont preach in a place where people come to pilgrimage, i mean why would they go all the way there just to have some dead beat yapping on about something else? do you see muslims with loudspeakers preaching inside vaticans cathedral?

The US government is set up so that no one person has all the power. The general population of the US disagrees with supporting Islamic countries.
