Whether you wear them or not now has nothing to do with when you go to boot camp. They will make you wear them. If you think you can hide it; you cant. Some little loud mouth bitc* will tell on you for not wearing them, then your drill instructors will jump all over you and rip your head off and tell you how much of a nasty female you are. By the way, you are no longer a person. You have no name. Feel honored if they call you by your last name. You are "female" to them and that is it. Word to the wise: wear them while you are in boot camp to save yourself some trouble. If you don't, you will catch hell for it, and you will regret not wearing them.
You dont get cute little panties either. You get Granny Panties. Government issued. Dont bother bringing special ones, because they will make you send them home.

do you realize that you are going to go to basic training to prepare to fight for a war? Basic training is hard and you have no say in anything. Your drill sgt will tell you what you can wear and when. You will be wearing underwear and you will be thankful for it. You may not get to wear a clean uniform everyday but you will be able to change your underwear and t-shirt and bra. so if i were you I would start practicing wearing panties especially granny panties.

I also suggest you ask your recruiter if there is anybody who just got out of basic that you could talk to. From the questions I have seen you ask it doesn't seem that you have any clue what you are getting yourself into.

Yes it may cause problem in your genital area even if you have never had any sexual relations with anyone, there are several infections you could get.

Too much warmth and moisture around the private parts can also cause candidiasis. Wearing nylon panties, a pair of tight jeans and sitting hours with your legs crossed can make the candida thrive.

Wear clean dry clothes and cotton panties. Remember to dry your panties in the open air and sunlight.

You do not choose you attire in the army. You think they all choose to wear t-shirts & heavy long sleeve shirts on 100 degree days. It has been 118 degrees in Iraq & you still have to wear what they say. Panties are the least of your problems, it is the ugly cotton panties you should worry about.
