My husband is also in the military and as for all the negative comments...forget them because this is a totally different situation...that cosmo can't help with! Anyway...my husband was away for 6 months (the last two months of my pregnancy and the first 4 months after my son was born)...I'd suggest to keep it simple. Have the house nice and clean when he gets home, have something nice prepared for dinner or to prepare for dinner. I'd say after they come back from the desert...the best place to do anything is somewhere around the bathtub...haha...(baths aren't too common over there you know what I mean). Maybe have some candles, some wine, and just relax and see what happens. I don't know...it's such an adjustment coming home from over there and really my husband said he was just happy to be able to hang out and not have to worry so much about anything! So...maybe just keep it simple...and sweet! Make sure he gets to spend time with his little girl too...I'm sure he missed her lots. Hope this helps. Good Luck and God Bless!
I also wanted to add that when my husband came home I had bought him a nice new outfit so he could get out his desert camo into something new and more comfortable!

I'm so happy for you and your family. I hope you enjoy your time together.
Try to make sure you have a night or two to yourself. Can your daughter spend the night at grandma and grandpa's house? What about a trusted friend? Of course not as soon as your husband gets home, but after a few days so she can spend sometime gettin reaquainted with her daddy.
I'd focus on spending time at home, quietly just the three of you I know that may not seem romantic, but I'm sure all your husband has been thinking about is holding both of you him arms and just being able to look across the room and see you! Keep it close to home, but maybe if you can one night, go out for a nice dinner just the two you to him favorite restaurant. Do you live somewhere that you could go for a nice moonlit walk? (always romantic)
How about a really good massage? I know when I want to do something really special for my husband, I give him a really good massage. At least an hour long. Just remember to make him the focus for a few days, to let him know how special he is and how absolutely thrilled you are to have him home!
Again I am so happy for you. Enjoy each other!

Get a a sitter lined up! You will need your time uninterrupted!!! Put rose petals as a path to your destination throuhgout the house that "he has to follow. Have a candelight dinner in bed with wine on ice but have the candles lit up all over the room. Have a sexy outfit and just relax and enjoy! So glad your hubby is coming home! My hats off to him for fighting for our country! Get a sitter lined up though, a friend, family member or somenone you can trust! After your romatic time then run and get your daughter! :)Hope this helps!

I don't think you'll have to try to hard, he's been far away for awhile (I'm guessing) He is going to be so happy to see his family! Wear some slinky clothes, have wine with dinner by candlelight...1 yr olds take about 2 hour naps so that would work or wait for her to go to sleep at night

Spread flower petals under your sheets.. so that when you go to bed you will be making love in a garden! Welcome him home with little to nothing on. Put a temporary tattoo in a sexy place. Use your imagination!! Have fun!!
