nope.
have you seen how christians keep getting yelled at on Y!A by angry athiests? it takes courage to stand up against that.
as far as freedoms, if you look very closely at the founding documents, you will discover that fundamental freedoms are LIFE, liberty, and property (yeah, they changed it to "pursuit of happiness" but it was originally property).
if you can't stay alive, you're going to have a hard time exercising those other freedoms, aren't you?

I could put it this way:
"Are Christians just more BRAVE than liberal atheists?
It seems that fear is a focal point these people rally around. Fear of WHATEVER. Are Christians just more brave, so they don't buy in? Christians are the people who really mean "Live Free (of self) or Die (inside)." Christians want their freedom protected more than they want their lives protected. "

No, liberals just don't have the same set of values. They want their freedom of speech, but that's about it. They want all kinds of laws passed about freedom (except the freedom to express your faith, or say the word "God") and all kinds of programs for the government to support (pay for) liberal things like abortions for poor women and higher pay for teachers-regardless if they can teach well).
Conservatives on the other hand seem to follow the leader (like Pres. Bush) and agree with whatever he does, like go to war. There are brave libs and conservatives, and stupid ones too. Except it seems most liberals don't study enough facts, they are more driven by emotion. It's a shame they don't look more for real solutions instead of hating each other.

First off, that's a biased question, liberals use fear just as much if not more so than conservatives, when the President wanted to reform the Social Security system to make it solvent, liberals, mainly of the Democratic party, put the fear of lost checks into seniors to make sure the proposal, whether successful or not would die, they use fear of ostracizing into minorities to keep them in the Democrat tent, and the fear of anti-capitalist, pacifist, envirowackjobs in some place of power has lost them votes, support and seriousness among regular people.

No. It seems that fear is a focal point of most liberals. They are always afraid that someone is out to "take away their freedom". Seems more like paranoia to me...
Christian conservatives are the only ones that seem willing to stand up and say, 'no, I don't agree with that and I'm taking a moral stand.' THAT'S courage, not sitting back and saying, "Do whatever feels good..." like liberals do. The liberal philosophy is the spineless epitome of cowardice.

I am a Christian and don't fear anything. Atheists love the idea that Christians are afraid of dying and that is why we are Christians. Do you really think God, the all knowing, all powerful, creator of the universe and life would be willing to have a relationship with someone which is based around fear? Why you would want to be a liberal I don't know, but that is your decision, if you are one. Anyway when atheists start to understand that Christains are in fact afraid of nothing, will someone tell me? Really starting to bore me now!

Uh...."live free or die" is a conservative slogan, in the sense that it asks for a life independent of the pressures of the state. A liberal is someone who wants change, and a part of that change is the creation of a governmental/social structure that encourages the well-being and equality of all. This just shows that terms like "liberal" and "conservative" don't really have a useful meaning anymore, because they involve to many inconsistent stands to be clear. Instead, liberal and conservative are words used to categorize and polarize debate, to alienate and render silent "the other."

Frankly we live in "fearful" times...there is an enemy that wants us all dead...not just me, but you too.
Liberals think that because they're liberals they are immune to the attacks of terrorists, when frankly, liberals would be the first to go if terrorists ran this representative republic.
You need to open your eyes...and not just listen to the biased news. One day you're going to have decide which side you'll choose...one that would rather give up their freedoms for dimplomacy, or one that would rather die than be held under...because that is the difference between liberals and conservatives...death to freedom or true death FOR freedom.

Oh what a strange question. So you are saying we liberals are idiots for not wanting Big Government to spy on our phone calls and banking records because that, you think, will keep us safe? Is that what you are trying to say? Here's the thing, Big Government could ALWAYS monitor phone calls and banking records and anything else it wanted, with a court order, and those are very easy to get. Special courts have been created to issue those warrants. The Constitution REQUIRES those warrants. So you see, you can be both safe AND free. But I guess you just hate liberals, don't you. Facts never matter to you conservatives.

I am a liberal and I am not an atheist - but I do wonder why conservatives are so willing to take god out of our lives. They allow a President to take the prayer out of our schools. The republicans have taken all our real christian rights away. It is now better to be rich then be christian.

Liberals (ACLU) want everyone to believe that whatever decisions you make does not have consequences. To add, you should not need to ask for your sins, mistakes, hurts and lies that you intentionally caused to be forgiven.
They surely what GOD removed from our existence. That is like murdering your parents, so you do not need to answer to them.
Satan tried to instill into Eve that God was keeping something away from them, when they were already gods of this Earth.
God placed a protection around the second tree, the tree of Life. If they had eaten of that tree they would have never died. Satan very knew what he was doing.
God has the last Word. The bottom line is Satan continuing to use any means necessary to separate us from GOD, like he did in the garden of Eden.
