A girl that I believe has liked me for some time borrowed something from me. Knowing I would not need it for a few weeks, I let her borrow it even though it had sentimental value. The thing I wonder is if she took it because she wanted to actually use it, or is possible she took it so that she had something that belonged to me in her posession? Do girls like having something from the object of their affection because she seemed really happy to have it?

It really depends on the girl, and the object. Lets start with the girl... Do you know her very well? Based on what you know does the thing seem like something she would use? If it doesn't seem like she would use it then find a way to get it back from her. If she might be using it then ask her what she needed it for and how long she needs it. Depending on the girl's personality she might have taken it just because she likes you, but if you ask me, it seems like shes going a little far to be close to you. Hopefully shes actually using whatever it is.

-Thats really hard 2 say because it depends on what the item was. If she was aware that it had sentimental value to u, she might be keeping it because she feels u trust her with something valuable to u, and shes taking it as a sign of love/ affection. If that isnt the case U should let her know that u really would like it back. Also ask yourself how important this item is to u, if its not that important then let it go....Good Luck!!

Yes, some girls just like to have something belonging to their b/f or someone they like a lot. if it has sentimental value to you ask her what she is doing with it and explain the significance behind it for you. You might want to offer something else in it's place to make her happy. Something that has no meaning to you like an article of clothing or inexpensive jewelry.

Some do as dor me I wouldn't unless your famous or something around that.Girls can be wierd watch out for those types their the ones that end either killing themselves or you if you break up with them.

she might just want something of yours so you have a reason to contact her...not really sure though...depends on what the item is
